I almost forgot about this blog. This was our project when we are juniors. Didn't realize this blog's still here. Okay, just wanted to share. Haha. I'll use this blog as often as I can. Although, my friends don't usually open theirs. K, bye.

One of a Kind, Batang Rizal

      We all know who Dr. Jose Rizal is. The "National Hero" of the Philippines. We also know that he sacrificed his life because he can't stand what the Spaniards are doing to us. He stood up against them and fought for our dignities. Since then, he'll always be a hero. Not only him but also those people who fought with him

       It's been a month since we were told that we're gonna watch this particular play. A play about Rizal. About his teenage years and lifestyle. We watched this play at the Assumpta Theater. The stage play was entitled "Batang Rizal".

       Pepe and Pepito, the main characters, did a very good job in acting and presenting the young life of Rizal. Pepe was the name of the batang Rizal in the play. And Pepito was a typical student in his school. They have this culminating activity which is the Buwan ng Wika that's why they mostly talked about Jose Rizal. It was when Pepito broke the statue that was supposed to be given by the Mayor to their school, that the real play had started.

       Pepito was hiding, trying to figure out a way how to fix the mess he made. Then, there was this book, a magical one. I think it was "Ang Mahiwagang Aklat". It made Pepito go back to Pepe's time. He was like, "Nasan ako?", "Paano ako nakarating dito?", "Sino sila?", "Bakit ganyan ang suot nila?". Something like that. You'll see how amazed and shocked he was at that time. Then, he met Pepe's family. Pepe's sisters called him Pepito and he thought that they know him. Her sisters were shocked because Pepe doesn't like to be called 'Pepito' but Pepito insist. He made a lot of blahs here and there. He even taught them the word 'WEH' and such. Even sang of the so-called 'Weh Song'. That was a funny part back then. When the real Pepe (batang Rizal) came back with their mother, they told their mother immediately about what happened. They also called him Pepito that made him irritated hecause he really really don't want that nickname. Pepe was shocked to know that for he was with their mother the whole time. And when Pepe 1 and Pepe 2 met, a war came. Kidding! Shocked to see each other but Pepito was rather amazed for he met the batang Rizal. They talked about a lot of stuff and eventually, they became friends.

       Pepito also talked a lot. About his studies and hobbies. After some time of talking, they came to the point of talking the present. Of course Pepito would love to tell a lot of stories only if Pepe's wiling to listen. That's when Pepito started to narrate the present time until to his problem. He asked Pepe if he could help him and he answered he would love to. They didn't know how to go back to the present if only the book did not do this 'ilaw-ilaw' thingy. "The book can help us!", said the both of them. And they were right. The book helped them to go back in the present. When the door in the present opened, one of the funny scenes was the "tsinelaaaaass kooooooo!" shout of Pepe because the other pair of his slippers was left. Now, they're in Pepito's school. And the statue was still a big mess. They don't know how to fix it. And there was this 3 kids who bullies Pepito, a lot. They asked who's the boy next to him and it started a funny introduction. (The conversation will be in Filipino.)

Pepito: Siya nga pala ang kaibigan kong si Pepe.

Pepe: Kamusta kayo? Ako nga pala si Pepe, ang batang Rizal.

3 bata tumawa. Hahahaha.
Bata1: Ikaw? Batang Rizal? Hahaha. Ako si Boni, ang batang Bonifacio.
Bata2: Ako naman si Ella, ang batang Tandang Sora.
Bata3: Ako naman si .. *Hulk Mode* Aargh! Aargh! Wala lang.
That was the most funny scene and I laughed hard back then. Then things went by not so smoothly because the Mayor told them that if the statue won't be seen, he will close the school. And because of that, teamwoooorkk!! Before that happened, Pepito accidentally told Pepe that he was going to die at the Luneta Park when he become older.
       It was like 'tampong bata' because Pepe walked out. He never imagined that he'd die later on in his life. But then he realized that it was okay even if he'll die in the future because it is for the sake of others. He told the other students that they should study hard, dream big and aim for their goals in life because even if they'll die, atleast they became happy. And also to treasure evey moment in their lives with their family and friends. A funny play yet, a learning one. A must watch play.

Be an Optimist Prime

     Ever heard about the saying, "Be an OPTIMIST Prime, not a NEGAtron"? It means you should be a positive thinker not a negative one. Being positive, makes your life more exciting. Having a positive outlook in life, makes things easier than it seems. There are simple steps to follow to be an optimist. These steps are based on my experiences and opinions.

       First, you have to relax. Think of a way to compose yourself especially when you are cramming for works in the office and school for example, proposals, thesis papers, projects, homeworks and other stuffs. Avoid cramming because rush works do not look good.

      Second, think of positive things to look at. It'll be easier for you to work when you have positive things ahead of you.

       Third, imagine what will be the outcome of your work. If you do this and that, imagine what will it look like if you finished that particular work. In imagining, think of the possible outcome in a positive manner, not in the negative way. You can have the negative ones as a factor in the finished product or task. But be sure to have the positive side bigger than the negative.

       And the last thing to put in mind is do your work with all your heart, for the finished product will be best if you put all your efforts in it. Thinking of positive things and setting aside all your worries and less negative things will make the work easier.

        To summarize it all, being an optimist helps you in making the complicated works an easy one. Positive vibes helps you not to cram. Cramming makes you rush your work and it will be the reason why you'll end up having negative thoughts. What if here, what if there, what if's everywhere. Put in your mind that it's best if you'll be an Optimist Prime rather than a Negatron. Remember, be optimistic.

Paris est l'amour (Descriptive)

     We all know this place. When you see it, you will be amazed. The atmosphere it contains, the ambiance present in it symbolizes love. You're right, it's Paris. The famous place known as "City of Love".

      I dream of going to this place to see the beauty it treasures. It's lovely ambiance makes you worry less and you just think of where you are in the present. Lovers everywhere, tourists on vacation, complete families having their family day. For me, this is LOVE. It feels great when you're there, especially when you have your loved ones by your side. Love because of Paris and not only because you have boyfriend or girlfriend, but because you know there are people out there who will love you because you are you, who will accept you and your flaws and will never leave you.

      It's a special place for me. My favorite place, actually. Paris isn't all about being in love or love. It is about Paris -- a place everyone loved, can love and will always love. The very very first time I see it on pictures, even heard about it, I already fell in love with it. It does remind me of love, even to some of you. But love isn't about having a partner instantly, nor finding it so fast. It's about giving love and receiving in return. And love is not found by finding, it is found by falling. That is why we call it falling in love. This process takes time. And love is not only found on the opposite gender, it is in the hearts of the people you truly love and care the most. Including your family, best friends, close friends, the not-so-close friends, teachers, and the other people around you.

      Some people think Paris is love. I include myself there. The place is truly beautiful (will appreciate more when the time comes, I'll be there), perfect for vacation, and finding love. This is about Paris. Paris is about love. And so this is about Paris and love. Beauty we know, love is all it shows.

The best kind of relationships begin unexpectedly. When you get that astonished feeling and everything happens so suddenly. That's why you don't look for love. It comes to you just at the right time; the time you never thought it would have.
